Esquin Wine & Spirits is thrilled to welcome back Winemaker Nick Picone of Villa Maria Estate to Esquin Monday for a special tasting seminar of whites and reds!
Nick will be leading an exploration into the latest vintages of Villa Maria, confirming once again why it is New Zealand's Most Awarded Winery!
Nick has been with the Villa Maria Group for 13 years, beginning as a teenager at Esk Valley Estate in Hawkes Bay, where his natural ability and passion for winemaking were quickly recognized. He later transferred to Villa Maria's Marlborough winery to take up the role of Assistant Winemaker, and was promoted to Winemaker a year later.
